For my first major assignment of Game Design in Fall, our group was tasked with making a board game interpretation of an already existing digital game. We chose Hades, and used the Boon and Weapon systems to create player agency through choice.
My primary assignment within the group was to create the Boon cards, as well as help to balance the Mana, Damage, and Health stats for each enemy. I found this task quite enjoyable, as it required more in-depth looks at statistics such as Average Enemy Health and overall party damage as the size increased.
